Although the election did not turn out as we had hoped, we still are grateful to all the people who did so much to help us.

    Lawrence has made its choice and we wish Senator Francisco nothing but success in addressing the difficult issues facing our state.

    It is important to remember that our system really only works as long as people have a choice.  It is through contested elections that ideas and views are refined and reviewed.  I hope my campaign played a small part in helping our system work.
